Description BigLEN (mouse) is a potent and selective agonist of orphan G protein-coupled receptor 171 (GPR171), with a Kd of ~0.5 nM. BigLEN (mouse) is a proSAAS-derived neuropeptide. BigLEN (mouse) regulates food intake in mice. BigLEN (mouse) inhibits the release of glutamate onto parvocellular neurons of the paraventricular nucleus in a process dependent upon activation of postsynaptic G proteins.
